There is no better time of year to give your home a little TLC than spring! That’s why the idea of spring cleaning is so popular, right? We know many of you have power-washing your home’s exterior on your honey-do list over the next few months. However, at Stretch Cleaning, we want to introduce you to a different way to get your home sparkly clean – and save you from having to do the work yourself!
Stretch Cleaning & Restoration has been SoftWashing homes in Long Beach Township for some time now. We started offering this service when we would get calls from people who needed help making exterior repairs to their home caused by the high pressure and almost abrasive nature of power washing. In fact, our technique only needs regular water pressure, like what comes out of your garden hose! Hello gentle cleaning and water conservation!
However, the value of SoftWashing goes much further…
SoftWashing is both non-abrasive and environmentally-friendly, while being extremely effective. Our customers have given rave reviews about the results they’ve seen after the Stretch Cleaning & Restoration crew wraps up their work.
This advanced cleaning technology is actually a three-in-one process that removes growth from the surface, kills fungus, and lays down an inhibitor that discourages and prevents future fungal growth.
On top of using less water, this process produces less waste, uses biodegradable and non-hazardous chemicals, won’t damage building materials, and can be used on nearly every type of exterior surface from brick and stucco to cedar shake, vinyl and aluminum siding, concrete, wood, and more.
Just like staining occurs on carpet or walls, it can also start to appear on exterior parts of your home – like the roof or siding. Many times, what appears to be just a dark dirt coating is actually a sign of mold or other fungal growth. Therefore, simply pressure washing won’t do anything more than remove the existing growth. If it truly is fungal growth, it will probably be back in no time.
SoftWashing, on the other hand, not only cleans the surface, it prevents regrowth. SoftWash Systems feature a special formula that dissolves mildew, bacteria, and dirt, meaning the results last a whole lot longer than normal power washing.
SoftWashing is a great way to kick off those spring and summer home maintenance projects. Once this process is done, here are a few other projects you might be inspired to do yourself to give your home the TLC it deserves.
Plus, if the inside of your home could use some spring cleaning, we are here to professionally clean your carpets, area rugs, tile and grout, and so much more!
